The Silent Way
This is a 4 and a half minute extract from an experiment I undertook as part of my DELTA qualification. The approach is Caleb Gattegno's 'The Silent Way'. The lesson took place at a language school in Leeds, filmed by a fellow student. The experience was interesting, and as a pure approach, this is not something I'd try regularly in class; particularly with adults. However, I gained a lot from practising with Cuisenaire rods.
